Horizon 2020 is the eighth EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
H2020 provides funding to researchers:
- from any discipline,
- at any stage of their career,
- of any nationality.
It also funds research collaborations and individual researchers, from fundamental to application-oriented research.
We will be happy to provide you with information about the various funding programmes, such as the ERC grants and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions.
Horizon Europe, the new EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, will launch in 2021. To find out more about it, we recommend that you attend the launch event of Department 4.1 – Research Management and Transfer in late January 2021.
- We offer assistance with your budget calculation, provide template texts and best-practice examples, and read your proposal for an evaluation of its formal and strategic aspects.
- To submit an application for an ERC programme, you will require a host support letter signed by the University Chancellor.
- Applications for Marie S.-Curie European Joint Doctorates (ITN) require an Institutional Commitment Letter from HHU, signed by the Chancellor.
